How to Upload a Song to Virtual Song Book

1. Click the “Add Song” Button: Located at the top of the page, this button initiates the song upload process.
2. Enter the Song Name: Provide the title of the song.
3. Optional Details:
   • Arranger and Original Artist: Enter the name of the arranger and the original artist of the song. These details help in searching for songs within the Virtual Song Book app.
   • Dal Segno (D.S.) Markings: If the song includes Dal Segno:
     • D.S. Al Coda or D.S. Al Fine: First, specify the page where this can be found.
     • D.S. Sign: Next, specify the page where the D.S. sign appears.
4. Upload Song Files: You can upload various types of files for the song. While all these files are optional, adding them enhances the functionality and usability of the song within the app:
   • Portrait Mode Files: PDF file of the song in portrait orientation.
   • Landscape Mode Files: PDF file of the song in landscape orientation.
   • Full Score: PDF file of the conductor’s full score.
   • Audio File: MP3 file of the song’s audio.
5. Click “Save”: After entering the details and uploading the files, click “Save”. The song will begin uploading, and the PDF files will be processed.

Tips for a Smooth Upload Process

• File Naming: Ensure that your PDF and MP3 files are named clearly to avoid confusion during the upload process.
• Consistent Formatting: Keep a consistent format for all your songs to maintain uniformity within your library.
