Deleting your account permanently and immediately removes all of your data from Virtual Song Book. This can’t be undone, so it’s worth being sure before you start. One important requirement: you must delete any organizations you own before you can delete your account.
1. Open User Settings
- In the web app, click your name in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.
- Click User Settings.
This is also the screen where you can change your password.
2. Clear any organizations you own
You can’t delete your account while you still own one or more organizations. For each organization you own, you’ll need to either delete it or transfer ownership to someone else, then come back to this screen. (Organizations you’re only a member of don’t need anything — just the ones you own.)
3. Delete your account
- In User Settings, find the Delete Account section.
- Read the warning — deleting permanently and immediately removes all your data from the system.
- Click Delete.
Once you confirm, the deletion is permanent and immediate — there’s no way to recover the account or its data afterward, so make sure you’ve saved anything you need first.
