Once people have joined your organization, you manage them from the Users page in the web app. You can change someone’s role or part access, temporarily disable them, remove them, or cancel an invite that’s still pending. You’ll need admin access. (To add new people, see Inviting Users to Your Organization.)
Edit a user
On the Users tab, click the pencil icon next to a person’s name to open the Edit User dialog. From there you can:
- Role: switch them between Admin (can manage the organization, music, and users) and User (a standard member).
- Conductor: toggle the Conductor attribute to give them conductor access.
- Instruments: choose which parts they can see — tap an instrument to add or remove a checkmark. The count (for example, 2/7) shows how many of your instruments they’re assigned. This is what controls the music each member sees, so it’s worth getting right.
Your changes save automatically — just click Close when you’re done.
Disable a user
Click the toggle icon (next to the pencil) to disable a member. Disabling blocks their access to the organization, but they stay listed as a member — so you can quickly re-enable them later. It’s the right choice for someone who’s temporarily inactive rather than gone for good.
Remove a user
Click the trash can icon to remove someone from the organization. This takes away their access to your library. If you need them back later, you’d invite them again.
Cancel a pending invite
People you’ve invited who haven’t joined yet live on the Invites tab, marked Pending. A couple of things to know:
- There’s no need to resend an invite — it waits for the person in the app, so they’ll see it whenever they log in or sign up with the invited email.
- To cancel an invite, click the x icon next to it on the Invites tab.
You can also start a new invite from here with the New Invite button.
